What is an RTA Cabinet?

RTA stands for Ready-To-Assemble. While we do offer unassembled (flat-packed) cabinets that can be assembled by the end user. Our cabinets are typically sold fully assembled for added convenience, quality assurance and time savings.

What are the frameless RTA cabinet boxes made from?

Our cabinet boxes are constructed from ¾” furniture-grade plywood (except for the *Econoline series).
The box finishes depend on the selected style. It will be either wood veneer or TFL (Thermally Fused Laminate).
Finish colors are also based on your preferences and may match the Door Colour, or come in a standard White, Oak, or Cinnamon finish.

What type of door styles are available?

We have many different door styles which include Slab, Shaker and Fluted. Please see our Products page or call one of our design specialists for more detailed and up to date information.

What sizes are available?

Cabinet boxes come in modular sizes with Widths generally coming in 3 inch increments from between 6” up to 39”. Upper cabinet heights also come in different sizes anywhere from 12” up to 42” while most bases are 34.5” tall. Please call and speak to a design specialist for more specific information.

Are the sides of the cabinets finished?

Yes, the sides of the cabinets are finished. Depending on the style selected, the cabinet box will be finished with either wood veneer or TFL (Thermally Fused Laminate).
The finish colour is based on your selection. Both Interior and Exterior, will either match the door’s colour, or come in a white, oak, or cinnamon finish.

Do you provide installation services?

Yes! We provide full-service installations for cabinetry as well as countertops.

What is the lead time for finished cabinets?

For assembled cabinetry, cabinets are typically ready within 3 to 7 business days after selections are finalized.
For non-assembled (flat-packed) cabinets, they can be ready in as little as 1 to 3 days.
We move fast, but timelines can vary depending on demand. Please speak with a design specialist for the most accurate and up-to-date lead times.

What is the warranty on the cabinets?

All components including cabinet boxes, cabinet doors and accessories are warranted for 1 year from the date of purchase against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. Ask your design specialist for more detailed information.

What is the cost of Delivery?

Delivery costs vary based on factors such as distance, kitchen size, and access challenges (like deliveries to multiple-story buildings with no elevator).
That said, typical delivery within city limits is $250 for a standard kitchen. Our service is white glove, meaning our team will bring the cabinets directly into your home.
Customers are also welcome to arrange their own pickup, but please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage during third-party transport.

How are cabinets shipped?

If assembled, each cabinet is carefully wrapped in foam sheet and cardboard, secured with shrink wrap for protection.
If unassembled, the cabinet will arrive in a box containing all necessary components, ready for assembly. Every item is clearly labeled for your convenience.

I have my own kitchen drawing, how do I know what cabinet boxes will be needed?

We’d be happy to help! Please provide us with a sketch or description of your layout, and our in-house designers will create a 3D rendering for your review and approval.
Please note: If JJ Cabinet Warehouse is not completing the final measurement, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to ensure accuracy. We cannot be held liable for sizing issues due to inconsistent or incorrect measurements.

Is the cabinet hardware included (Hinges and Drawer Glides)?

Yes. All cabinetry includes soft close adjustable hinges and soft close full extension drawer glides.

Are any of the cabinets made of particle board?

Almost all our product lines are made from ¾” Plywood, with one exception which is the *Econoline. Please see the Products page for details of Econoline door styles. Econoline Boxes are made from ¾” Particleboard and a TFL (Thermally Fused Laminate) veneer.

Are the cabinet doors reversible for left or right hinged doors?

Yes. All cabinet doors are reversible. (Until you drill for the handle, measure twice and drill once!)

Are the cabinets strong enough to hold granite, quartz or concrete?

Yes. All of our cabinet lines are built to easily support all solid stone countertops in fact, they’re among the strongest cabinets available.

Can I buy replacement parts?

We stock a wide range of replacement parts, it’s one of the many reasons contractors love working with us. If you’re looking for a specific part, the best thing to do is call our customer service team at 204 783 0870, and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I get colour samples of the cabinets?

Yes! We have samples onsite in our showroom if needed. It might be best to call ahead so we can have what you need waiting for you.

Do you carry glass doors?

Yes. Any of our cabinet lines can be ordered with glass inserts. Simply let us know which doors you’d like to feature glass and select a glass style, and we’ll handle the rest.

Do you make any other finishes or door styles that are not on your website?

The door styles and finishes shown on our website are our most popular, carefully chosen for their timeless and classic appeal. But if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for but still want to work with us for our exceptional craftsmanship and service, feel free to share your preferences with a design consultant. We may still have access to a match.

Do you pantries in any other depths?

Yes and no. Our standard stock pantry depths are designed to align seamlessly with the rest of our inventory. While we don’t carry shallow-depth pantries as a stock item, we can modify cabinets to meet your needs — please note this will involve custom costs.

How do I become a distributor of your cabinets?

Good for you I love the initiative! While we’re not strictly a distribution-only company, we do work with many resellers. Feel free to contact us directly and speak with a sales manager. They’ll get you set up in no time.

How do I join your contractor program?

We love you guys! You keep all our stuff working.
Our contractor pricing program offers tiered benefits starting at just 3 kitchens per year.

Do you sell other hardware or accessories for the cabinets?

Yes. We sell a wide variety of accessories, including Pulls, Knobs, Sinks, Faucets, Dividers, Extenders, Organizers and pretty much anything else you have seen in the magazines. Please call one of our designers to get a better idea of items you could get to spruce up your new kitchen.
